VEELS GELUK AAN ONS
NTA-WENNERS!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR
NTA WINNERS!
Teachers' Month is in full swing, and it is a great privilege for us to reflect on one of the most important highlights on our education calendar: The National Teacher Awards (NTA) which took place on 1 October.
The NTAs are one of the Department of Basic Education's (DBE) flagship recognition programme to celebrate excellence, innovation and commitment in the education sector.
The initiative is being driven nationally by the DBE in collaboration with the various provincial education departments, education trade unions and business partners.
Its purpose is to honour exceptional classroom practice and school leadership, promote the public image of the professional teacher, and share best practices across the country.
The process runs through rigorous judging rounds annually from district to provincial level and culminates in a prestigious national awards ceremony during Teachers' Month in October where the country's top teachers are honoured in diverse categories.
Congratulations to Our Achievers!
We are extremely proud of our members who have performed with excellence this year and received the highest honours at both national and provincial level.
