Supporting The Potato Foundation | July 2025

Omgee-maand is our annual month of giving – a chance for educators, schools and supporters to show tangible care for those in need. This year, we're proud to partner with The Potato Foundation, bringing hope to children in vulnerable communities.

About Omgee-maand

Launched as an initiative to promote social responsibility and compassion in the education sector, Omgee-maand invites participants to act generously and intentionally. From donation drives to acts of service, it’s a collective reminder of the power of empathy in action.

Our 2025 campaign goals

• To demonstrate the SAOU's continued commitment to social responsibility
• To provide (school) shoes to children in need, improving access to education
• To enable member participation across the country, in an easy, meaningful way
• To give expression to the spirit of Mandela Month in an education-aligned context
